Whilst I work primarily as a designer I understand that most clients want a complete service that can bring their plans to life. As a result I work closely with a variety of local companies who are experienced in all aspects of landscape construction. I will arrange for an estimate from at least one of my preferred contractors as part of the design fee and should you accept their estimate will liaise with them throughout the construction works. A planting list and quotation is automatically supplied with design drawings and we can also source and supply any accessories or special items that you require as part of our service.
If you do not wish to use my preferred contractor but still wish for my help during construction I can offer a full tender and contract supervision service as an optional extra.
Working on a fixed fee basis linked to size of contract (7.5%) I can:
- prepare tender documents for up to three contractors. I will visit your garden with each contractor and describe the project before inviting them to tender. I will then stay involved throughout the pricing process until a satisfactory contract has been agreed and the contract has been let.
- supervise the construction process throughout, making regular site visits and staying in close contact with your chosen Landscape Contractor.
